AFC CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT 2025

On the 4th of September 2025, Agape Family Care hosted a Charity Golf Tournament at Chapman Golf Club in Eastlea, about 3.3km from the CBD of Harare. The annual event focuses on fundraising while supporting humanitarian activities.

The Golf Tournament came into fruition courtesy of various supporting sponsors, such as First Link Insurance Brokers, CP Chemicals Private Limited, Great Dyke Investments (PVT) LTD, UFIC City Zone, Fly Airlink, SteelTech Structures, Old Mutual Zimbabwe, CABS, The Best Car Rental (Pvt) Ltd, Pastor Aldridge, Baker Tilly Zimbabwe, UFIC Zengeza 2 Zone, UFIC Cranborne Zone, Wedenga Logistics, Mecca Auto and General (Pvt) Ltd, Moonlight Assurance and Funeral Services, Intercrete Zimbabwe Pvt Ltd, Stanbic Bank, Nyaradzo Life Assurance Company, Equipment Services, CIMAS Health Group, South Bay Real Estate (Private) Limited, Zimbabwe Open University, Techsoft Solutions Pvt Ltd, Edgars Zimbabwe, as well as other individuals who came forth to support. These sponsors played a key role in ensuring the success of the event. The participants, with an air of fair play and encouragement, went ahead to display excellent sportsmanship.
After a fierce competition on the playing field, an Award Cocktail was held, during which a number of players were recognized and honored for their outstanding performances during the tournament. The event highlighted the competitive spirit of the tournament and all the unity and support that goes into actualizing the Agape Family Care mission.

Included among the guests was, Pastor Prime Kufa of United Family International Church. The evening event was hosted by Mr. L. Tsvangira, and a very gripping presentation by Minister Michael Mahendere certainly made the enjoyment of the occasion great. Thereafter, Mr Taurai Shambare proceeded with the acknowledgment and awarding of the winners of the tournament. Krist Kamupira was the distinguished winner who took the overall title taking home the trophy, with E.Mudhikwa taking second prize, G.Madanyaya taking third prize, and Mr L.Tsvangira taking fourth prize. There were many exciting prizes that were won, including a refrigerator, power generator, air fryers, bicycle, smart TV, and gas stove, among others. All proceeds raised will go towards further funding for the Livelihoods, Education, Institutional Support, Health Outreach, Albinism Awareness, and #GirlChildSheCan empowerment programs.
