Albinism is commonly misunderstood in many cultures and can be seen as taboo due to certain cultural beliefs around the subject. The "Together in the Same World" campaign stands as a powerful step forward, dedicated to raising awareness about albinism and advocating for the human rights of individuals with albinism. This initiative also aims to inspire those with albinism to rise above challenges and embrace their resilience.

Through the love and compassion of Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa, Agape Family Care, in partnership with UFIC Lady Pastors, made a visit to a homestead in Glendale, situated about 62km North of Harare, in the Mashonaland Central Province. The purpose of this visit was to support a young mother who is raising her two children with albinism. The kindness displayed on the occasion was soaked with emotions of joy and gratitude as essential items were lovingly provided to her.
Among the donations were sunscreen lotions, baby diapers, infant clothes, baby bags, sanitary products, cooking oil, beans, sugar, flour, rice, detergent, and maize meal. This act of kindness illustrates how we can collectively help communities grounded in love and compassion, thus building a better world.
