The School Fees Program stands as a vital initiative, dedicated to providing extensive support for children, ensuring they remain in school, and equipping them for a promising future. While the primary aim of the program is to cover essential educational expenses, its impact reaches far beyond financial assistance. By alleviating the economic pressures faced by families, the program allows children to concentrate on their studies, free from the weight of financial worries. This initiative is not merely a financial lifeline, it is a transformative tool designed to empower children with the knowledge and skills they need to break free from the cycle of poverty, make informed decisions, and ultimately become self-sufficient members of society.

The vision of Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa has been instrumental in the establishment and success of this program. Under her compassionate leadership, the Agape Family Care team undertook a comprehensive mission to identify students struggling with financial hardships and various barriers to accessing quality education in the Shamva District. This mission involved collaboration with school leaders from 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒂𝒎𝒂 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍, 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒗𝒂 𝑳.𝑫.𝑽 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍. Together, they tailored support to meet the unique needs of students, empowering them to overcome financial obstacles and achieve their educational aspirations.

The Agape Family Care team later on conducted a follow-up initiative on the 17th of October 17, 2024, gathering with the parents and guardians of beneficiaries enrolled in the School Fees Program. During this meeting, expressions of gratitude were abundant. Parents and guardians conveyed their heartfelt appreciation for the assistance provided by Agape Family Care, acknowledging the life-changing difference it makes in the lives of their children. Among those beneficiaries was Talent Mangwayana, a bright Grade 2 student facing extraordinary challenges. Following the tragic loss of both parents, Talent was left in the care of his older brothers, who subsequently abandoned him in pursuit of better opportunities, leaving him vulnerable and alone. Fortunately, Mr. Tera Muchanyara, a compassionate neighbor aged 46, stepped into the breach, caring for Talent and seeking assistance from the school to facilitate his education. The relief and gratitude on Talent’s face were evident during the meeting, a testament to the profound impact of Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa's initiative. Through the unwavering support of the School Fees Program, Agape Family Care has not only lifted the financial burden from Mr. Muchanyara but has also given Talent a chance to thrive academically and rediscover hope for a brighter future.

The School Fees Program exemplifies the power of compassion, commitment and collaboration in transforming lives through education. This initiative is paving the way for countless children to escape poverty and build a more resilient future. As we reflect on stories like that of Talent Mangwayana, we are reminded of our responsibility in supporting the next generation, ensuring that every child has access to the education and opportunities they deserve.

Mushambanyama Primary School, expressed their appreciation to Agape Family Care because part; g the school fees towards this programme was channelled towards acquiring bricks, sand, door frames and windows frames for an existing structure of a classroom block project that the school had embarked on as part of the school development and expansion program which they had been facing challenges to complete.
