These were the opening words from the Man of God, Pastor Chigumira, during the welcoming arrival service of the UFIC Youth Camp ‘25, a transformative event meticulously themed REIGN. Our revered spiritual father, the most highly esteemed and prolific Prophet of God, Emmanuel Makandiwa, graciously called out and extended a heartfelt invitation to the eager youth, an invitation that was met with enthusiastic acceptance and anticipation.
The arrival day witnessed the remarkable convergence of approximately 6,500 kings and queens representing all ten provinces of Zimbabwe, the wider African motherland and individuals journeying from all four corners of the world. Their destination was the sacred UFIC Chinhoyi Prayer Mountain in Zimbabwe. These young attendees arrived wholly prepared and ready to receive the profound teachings and spiritual impartation that the Prophet of God had diligently curated to train and equip them with the tools necessary to truly REIGN in their lives.
The static atmosphere served as undeniable proof that the Godnation was poised and ready to manifest the deep knowledge of their inherent identity: a chosen generation, set apart and peculiar, a Royal Priesthood established after the divine Order of Melchizedek. They were, on this significant day, brought into a deeper awareness of the divine truth that they were born to reign in every aspect of their existence, a fact that was to be deeply embedded into their being as the week unfolded.
As the arrival service commenced, thunderous shouts of unrestrained joy and heartfelt praise reverberated throughout the majestic mountains, a testament to the collective spirit present. In a unified spirit of profound gratitude, all the glory, the heartfelt praise and the utmost honour were unreservedly given to God, acknowledging His divine Hand in making it possible for each and every person present to be there at that very moment. Furthermore, deep and sincere appreciation was expressed thanking God for His unwavering protection and divine safety throughout their journeys. Remarkably, there was not a single member of the cherished Godnation family who failed to arrive due to any unfortunate incident, be it a road mishap or an aerial concern, a testament to divine safeguarding.
Having read from the insightful passage of John 4:23, Pastor Chigumira thoughtfully emphasised a crucial spiritual principle: the true worshippers the Father seeks are individuals who worship Him with a deep understanding of who they are as spirits. In his warm introduction to the evening's Worship Night, he highlighted that worship is a multifaceted act of showing profound adoration and reverence to God which can be expressed in various beautiful forms; be it through singing, dancing, declarations, giving and\or praying. He broke down the rocket science of spiritualism into an easily understandable concept by saying, “being spiritual is you being a spirit. It is you doing things as a spirit.”
Drawing wisdom from Psalm 100:4, the Worship Night officially began, gracefully ushering the Godnation into the divinely inspired and power packed week with uplifting songs of praise, expressive dances of joy and fervent prayers of heartfelt thanksgiving, sincere praise, and deep worship.
Shalom,
Wakatendeka Mhlanga
