Albinism is often profoundly misunderstood and can be a taboo subject in some communities. The "Together in the Same World" campaign is a step forward not only by providing awareness of albinism but human rights issues surrounding people with albinism specifically.

Agape Family Care, in partnership with UFIC Lady Pastors and supported generously by Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa, visited a homestead in Hurungwe which is 300km from Harare, in Mashonaland West Province, where a young mother is caring for her child with albinism. It was a touching moment filled with joy and gratitude as essential items were given to her.

Some of the essentials donated were sunscreen lotions, baby diapers, various infant clothing, baby bag, sanitary products, cooking oil, beans, sugar, flour, rice, detergents, and mealie meal. This act of kindness is a true illustration that when we work hand in hand we can build a society that strives for love and compassion, making the world a habitable place.
